If you’ve been addicted to marijuana, you probably want to know how to treat marijuana addiction, right? Of course you do. I got to tell you something. That’s probably one of the most important questions on every smoker who got fed up with this habit.
That’s why I decided to write this little, short article. I want to give you a few ways that have been proven in my experience that will definitely help you drop that drug like a champ.
Quit Marijuana Cold Turkey
This is the type of withdrawal they talk about in movies when they show you how to treat marijuana addiction. What you do is you simply quit. Sounds easy, huh? Well, it’s not. The withdrawal symptoms can get really bad and you pretty much have to get yourself ready for a few really crappy days. You’ll most likely not be able to do anything.
If you do have access to a good doctor, take the time to talk to him and tell him honestly what you’re planning on doing. Doctors are not jerks and they’ll help you out as well as they can.
This is another method. You’ll see it pretty often if you look around online trying to find out how to treat cannabis addiction. As the name suggests, what you do is you gradually smoke less and less until eventually, you don’t smoke anymore at all. This method is very helpful but you have to be careful because it’s very easy to just justify yourself and start smoking more and more.
In a Group
This one is great. What you do is you find a group of people that will quit with you. Then, you support and cheer for each other until you’re all clean. When you enter a group like that, just be sure you find a friend you can get really close to. If you do that, it’ll be much easier for you to succeed. The hard part about these groups is, finding an actual group, getting to meetings, and trusting the other members to respect your privacy.
This is what most people do. In the long run, you are on your own, and eventually you have your last puff. Everyone has to go it alone, cold turkey at some point. There are resources to assist you!
